Great writing Rose. I love the picture! Great use of a simile in your writing when you compared your mum jumping to a kangaroo, that was very clever! It created a great picture in my mind of what your mum looked like when she saw the rat.
What a great picture-plan to help you with your writing. I'm not surprised that your mum jumped like a kangaroo ... I hate rats - I don't even like little mice !! I also would have been scared of the rat running up my leg. I loved the list of insects you had written at the bottom of your work. Whaea Tanya
